This was a good book for anyone to read. A true story of the "American Dream."

Just the Inspiration You Need

Jim Clayton's story is an inspiration to us all. My good friend and mentor gave me this book, which proves that hard work pays off. Many lessons can be learned from Clayton who, like other great men, worked hard, worked smart, and overcame hardships to become a success in his business and in life. Clayton's story is the quintessential `American Dream' chronicle that follows a man from his humble beginnings on a cotton farm to becoming one of the most successful businessmen in America. I recommend this book to anyone who is striving to make a dream a reality--Clayton's story is just the inspiration you need.

Extraordinary example of the American Dream...come true!!

Jim Clayton is nothing short of a hard working, motivated individual that should inspire us all to "be our best selves" and realize our full potential in life. This book is filled with whimsical stories and anecdotes along with sound business advice and motivational words for success and longevity. It's a great read for anyone who needs to be convinced that the "American Dream" ideal is alive and well in this country. A big round of applause for Jim Clayton...and he's a great entertainer, too!

First A Dream

This is a very easy book to read and gives experiences that are easy to relate to. An interest to anyone who is in business or wants to go into business. The story of an entrepeneur's entrepeneur. It not only relates the many varied experiences, but briefly describes the lesson it taught the author and how it impacted his development as one of the American success stories. It's great for anyone that knows this man and lessons learned for anyone else. I suggest it as an illuminating read.
