Always a solid work

John MacArthur is a solid expositor indeed and this book is no exception. I do like John Stott's book on Thessalonians better however. I think Stott has more insightful commentary where MacArthur is a straight ahead interpretor. One strength of MacArthur's book is that he provides ready cross-references to parallel scripture verses saving one from continually flipping pages to find related verses. Overall this is a good commentary although you need to realize that MacArthur is a pre-mil dispensationalist which is reflected in this book.

a good resource, however I think the material could be condensed as it is a little too much than whats really needed
