I was given this book as a Christmas gift and I just LOVED it! If you read this Ms McCarthy, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. What a wonderfully stirring story! And the romance made my heart pound. I ate this book up in a matter of days. I couldn't put it down.
Great Story.

I found Ms Candace McCarthy's "Fireheart" to be a thrilling, romantic read, a perfect companion for a vacation or an evening at home. I love Indian romances, and Ms. McCarthy never disappoints. Her heroine, Joanna, is both brave and vunerable, and her hero is the stuff of dreams. Candace McCarthy's characters are real enough to step out of the pages. I think this book was one of her best, and I will add "Fireheart" to my list of keepers. I loved the native lore and the contrast between the heroine's two worlds. Ms. McCarthy's romances are always sensual without abandoning good taste. I would highly recommend this book as a must for anyone who enjoys Native American love stories. I look forward to her next novel.
