Great Sailing Book

I have read many sailing novels over the past 40 years and this book has to be the greatest of them all. It reinforced my views about how modern civilization in some aspects, has completely gone astray. The tin roofs for example, you will know what I mean if you read this book. You have to remember that Alain Gerbault sailed around the world almost 100 years ago to appreciate how he saw things. This book has changed my life. I have read it many times and I will continue to do so. I will sail until my last days in this wonderful world. The greatest thing I can do is pass this great book on to my many adventurous friends. And hopefully they will get the same warm feelings and goose pimples every time they read it.
