A Fire geek's book

This is one of the best books out on fire (so to speak :). I have taught fire protection for 17 years and been in the fire service for 25 and in that time have collected many books on fire, Hazel does a great job on this genre. The book provides a foundation for the depth and breadth of fire usage in history and today which in the long run provides purpose for the fire protection folks including firefigthers. Among the dozens, maybe hundreds, of books I own on the subject, this is one of the best.
