We got this book from the library and when our 9 weeks of renewals were up my son kept asking for it. Finally I searched it out in a book store and he was thrilled. He took it right up to the check stand to buy it. It is a great little book. The pictures are fun and the concept is easy for little ones to follow. A must for any little fire fighters out there!
Adorable book for the fire engine obsessed

My son asks to be read this book again and again. My toddler was able to gain an understanding of what firefighters do and what fire engines are for with this book. He now insists on putting on a fire helmet before reading this and gets quite animated by the story. The words are simple and compelling. The illustrations are engaging. I love the dynamic between the boy and his little brother. Very sweet. I liked that there were pictures of both male and female firefighters, as well as other firefighters of different ethnicities. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a kid who loves fire engines or anyone who would like to learn the basics about fire fighters.

I just bought this book for my 15-month old son and he loves it. We read it 2 or 3 times in a row. The drawings are very accessible for him and the story has some great messages about brothers and responsibility.
Cute story about brothers

This book follows much the same formula as "Digger Man," the authors' previous book. My sons love both books, and I think they really helped my older son see big-brotherhood in a positive light. Cute drawings, simple story, great for kids who love fire trucks.
Favorite Potty Time Book

I purchased this book because my son loved Digger Man. We read it so many times that the pages are worn and tearing. Fire Engine Man was just as big a hit. We keep it near our potty and he can't wait to sit down and read it each time!
