Neiderman at his best

There are few that can deliver a memorable read time and again, but Neiderman does it.

OUTSTANDING!

Something about his haunting style, the enigmatic plots, and the mysterious elements populating his fiction draws me to this appealing author. As a writer myself, I am able to appreciate his ambiguous style and finesse -- I've revisited many of his older novels over the past few years and they never disappoint. This is one of his finest, one that undoubtedly influenced other novelists in the field. Neiderman is indeed the unsung hero of literary American horror fiction.

Finding hope...

First captivated by Andrew Neiderman's creation THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE" I have been a fan of his work ever since. FINDING SATAN is a current events' marvel. Feeling plunged into today's world with a clever spin makes this newest good versus evil novel work on many levels. As always, Neiderman is first and foremost a teacher, who as an author brilliantly researches and shares his knowledge of a variety of topics via the story he weaves. Readers learn about Satanism and psychics and plenty of biblical teachings, but don't realize it as they read-along because the story is also gritty and sexy and raw, calming down just enough to let the reader catch a breath and turn the page. The subject is finding Satan...but I found hope, in good books and positive possibilities as a human being trying to make sense of our world.

BREATHTAKING... THRILLING... DEFINITELY HARDCOVER MATERIAL!

I am very pleased to be the first one to review Andrew Neiderman's FINDING SATAN. This book is a non-stop thrill ride! I've been a fan of Mr. Neiderman's work ever since I discovered he is the ghost-writer for V.C. Andrews. I devour his books, and this one was no different. I am pleased to count Mr. Neiderman as an email friend. This one deserved hardcover treatment. Not an end-of-the-world book, but very different from Mr. Neiderman's previous works. This one deals with tracking evil using computers. The main characters are likeable and believable. When two of them die, you will really feel it. I love the way the Homeland Security people are nearly sinister, at least in the beginning. Do any of us really trust our government anymore? What has been done in the name of homeland security... lies, cover-ups, murder? You really have to shake your head and wonder, don't you? All of these things are in this thrilling book. I wish Pocket Books had printed this one in hardcover. Mr. Neiderman really deserves it. His writing more and more reminds me of Dean Koontz... every bit as thrilling, every bit as interesting, dark yet almost always with a happy (or at least happier) ending. I was a bit confused at the epilogue... the book seemed to end too quickly. But hopefully that is so that a sequel can be done. You really care about these characters and their work, so I would love to see them carry on in another volume. Mr. Neiderman is one of the literary giants of our time. This should be a movie one day. Pick it up and hold on to your hats!
