Dang you Louise Plummer!

It is past midnight and I can't sleep because my friggin heart is pounding too hard! I was supposed to be sleeping two HOURS ago, but I thought, "no harm in reading a little before bed, right? books don't keep you up the way TV does, right?" Wrong. Not only could I not stop reading this book, but the characters seemed so real that even though I'm finished now I can't stop my heart palpitations because I'm almost convinced that the villain is right outside my window about to kill me! Some people just write too well, dang it!

awesomely creepy daddy

From the beginning you know that for 15-year old Mira, finding Daddy will be a failed enterprise, but like a car accident, you can't look away. Mira, who leads a charmed life with her mother and Bella, her grandmother, can barely imagine an unhappy ending, but it swoops down on her with surprising speed. A deliciously vicious read.

Absolutely Loved It.

I am a teenager and I absolutely loved this book. My friends and I have all read it. We all agree that it is so fun to read. You just get sucked in! We finished it in a day. Creepy things happen around the house, and the unexpected takes place. You just can't stop reading once you start. Definitely read this book!

Mira is a 16-year-old living a wonderful life. She lives in a beautiful house with her mom and her grandma, "Bella." She has an awesome best friend, and a friend-turned-boyfriend. Well, her life might sound complete but it isn't -- not for her. Mira's mom won't even talk about her dad. So she decides that since her mom won't tell her, she will find him on her own. The easy part for Mira is that she does find him and decides to contact him. She thinks her father is amazing and questions why her mom left him. So she arranges to meet him, but before that happens, horrific events occur in Mira's life. Murder. Betrayal. Sadness. Is Mira finally meeting her dad a good thing?
