My kids, truly even my older kids because of nostalgia, have all loved this book.
New version is great

This is a more sturdy version than the previous version. Adding words is great. And it doesn't mean that you have to read the words when going through this book. We have all adlibbed, haven't we? It can be just a search book or a read to them book. Use it any way you want. It's great. It's bright, colorful, and holds up to baby's use. There are so many things to talk in this book. A great feature for special needs children is the duck on each page for them to find. Small steps learning.
My Baby's Favorite Book!

This book is perfect for reading to babies and toddlers! The pictures are vivid and eye-catching, and the text is very short, which is very good for those ultra-short attention spans!! Since I've heard so often that reading to babies is extremely beneficial, I started reading this book (and a few others) to my son every night when he was about 2 months old. I always read the text and also point out the duck on every page. It very quickly became his favorite, as he expressed by smiling and laughing when I brought it out. Well, now my son is almost 9 months old and when I read it to him today, he pointed to the duck on one of the pages and said, "du!" I think this book has definately made an impression! I would whole-heartedly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fun book for their little one. :-)
Great little book for little people

With very few words (and those rhyme!), it is great fun to read to a toddler! My twenty month-old is very excited to point and find "Duckie" when I ask him on each page. Plus the bath theme is a big winner, what toddler doesn't like to splash in the tub? AND it's always a good thing to include a subtle potty reference... HIGHLY recommend it, simple and entertaining. What accomplishment a toddler feels when s/he can "find the duck."
Duck Mania

"Find the Duck" is a very cute board book targeting the very young who are just beginning to explore the world of pictures and hidden objects. Each page of the book features a yellow duck (like many of the Usborne series books) hidden somewhere on the page. My 13 month old is in love with ducks and this book immediately became his favorite after just one reading. He brings it to me repeatedly and smiles with such victory upon finding each duck. This book is just right to hold a toddler's attention. It does not have too many words and the illustrations are simple but cute. I would definitely recommend this as a great book to perk the literary interest and fascination of little ones.
Cute Interactive Children's Book

My 18-month old likes this book a lot. The concept is simple, the book doesn't have any words...instead, it consists of a series of illustrations where there is a duck on each page. The illustrations center around the bathtime theme, so for example, in one picture, the duck is hiding in the folds of a towel, in another he's on top of the medicine cabinet, in yet another he's hiding in the bath bubbles. For whatever reason, my child derives great joy from finding the duck in each picture and saying "duck!" In a few of the pictures, there is more than one duck; for instance, in one picture the little girl is holding a book that also has a duck illustration on it...so there are ways you can get more sophisticated with things. Also, I will expand the idea by asking "where is the toothbrush" or other object. The book offers illustrations that are interesting to talk about in more than one way. A favorite in our house!
