I bought this book because I had it as a child and remembered really enjoying it. The drawings are not as amazing as I remember thinking they were as an eight year old but that is the only downfall. Each scene spans two pages and not only do you have to find Freddie, but there is a list of other objects to find as well. You can spend quite some time on each scene trying to find everything. There is also a lot of detail in each scene and there are lots of different things to look at. You can go back to the book time and time again and you will see things that you hadn't before. All in all I think this is a great book for younger children or if you remember having it when you were a child. It would be great to have on a rainy day and if you just find a few objects at a time, it could take quite a while to do the entire book.
