Recounts the 1998 baseketball season of Valparaiso University, whose team captured the nation's attention during the NCAA basketball tournament. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I may be biased being from Valpo but this book was extremely well worth reading. It is filled with a behind the scene's look of the special team that brought great joy and memories. Even if you don't know of our Valpo team or program you will truly enjoy this fantastic story of a tiny school from Northwest Indiana that achieves the impossible dream.......ENJOY

A definate must have for those who love the underdog at tourney time. It's hard for me to devote continuous attention to a book, but I refused to put this one down, and that is an accomplishment. I could feel the excitement and goosebumps in the book's descriptions of "the shot" and stories of tourney time. It's a sense of relief that storeis like this do exist in a time when business seems to be overtaking the sports we love.

I loved the behind the scenes look at big time college basketball. I also learned a lot from Coach Drew about successful ways to raise children that have the potential to be college athletes. The book has a lot of value because of the messages in it. It's especially a great read for basketball fans.
