Great, outdated, reference book

I used to buy every edition of this book because it contains great country information that is well organized and presented. Sadly, I have not seen any new editions published in the past few years, presumably because most of the information is available on the internet. Nonetheless, I would buy new editions of this book if it were updated. Given 4 stars instead of 5 because book is now 5 years old.

This book contains a country-by-country analysis of climate, transportation systems, people, culture, tourism, economic systems and world affairs for a plurality of countries on virtually every continent. It has a wealth of facts pertinent to historians, economists, political theorists, travel agencies/tourism and government policy-makers the world over. This volume would be perfect for reference in any school project. It is a solid value for the price charged.
