This is prob. the best one in the series so far, having not read Dead Man's Hand and Look's can kill, anyways, a reporter, Patty, saves a couple of people from a terrist bomb on the subway, they all start to die, she does research on other events, and finds out that her great great grandmother had a similar vision in Victorian Jack the Ripper times......... It's a race against time to see if she can beat death...... Same Plotline, obv. as movies, this one very well written so much better than the last one, deaths are more gruesome and descriptive, the whole book kind of blends three stroies into one, 1. The reporter tries to save everyone who would have died on the train from Death 2. In Victorian times, her great great great grandmother sees a vision, tries to save the people who would have died, and runs from the clutches of Jack the Ripper whose involved in everything 3. follows an fbi agent as he ttries to catch the terrorists responsible for the explosion Death has more of appearence here, it gets cold, something moves n the corner of the eye, great book, best one of series........
