This novel kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The book is easy to read, with several twists and turns of intrigue, and the characters are fascinating, but the biggest shocker of all was the surprise ending. This is a must read for all of us mystery lovers. Hats off to Sheila Darragh.
Surprise Surprise Surprise.....

"Final Arrangements," is an absolute must read for those who like surprises not only in endings but through revelations brought about by character development. This is a keenly and tightly written mystery yet there is substantial drama and even a dose of comedy as well. Word has it that the author is working on a sequel. As far as I am concerned, it cannot come soon enough. "Final Arrangements," is the type of book that we ration out to ourselves until we find the next book that we enjoy as much!
Terrific!

Final Arrangements is one terrific novel that grabs you from page one and doesn't let go until the very last sentence. A gruesome murder is our introduction to a small town where Roberta Coleman Crosby lives. The choices Roberta has made in her life were dictated by tragic events, and now in her middle-age, she has come to the realization that while there may be regrets, she knows she can always count on the love of her son, Liam, and her very best friend, Eva. What Roberta doesn't know, is that she and Eva are closer to the murderer than they could ever imagine.Sheila Darragh takes us on a journey from Roberta's present, to her past, and back again. The relationships in this novel are fascinating, and Darragh has quite the flair for vivid descriptions, rich dialogue, and taut suspense. The plot is intriguing, the characters memorable, the writing crisp and clean. I was so enthralled with the story, I read it in one sitting. If the book was ice cream, I'd have gained ten pounds.
Feverish climax

An easy to read, fast-paced, page turner setting the stage for two women with inquisitive minds yearning to know; ultimately satisfying a Gone with the Wind attitude with a feverish climax.
