I took two classes (twice each class) under Lu Bro at Iowa State University. Her book is informative, thorough, clear, concise, easy to read, full of historical references and research on the history of how humans have represented the human form through the ages. It's also a good book to read even if you're not an artist. Lots of illustrations and images. Very, very good. Hard to put down
