From the introduction:
"This is a basic guide for her handweavers. It tells how fibers behave, how they are formed into yarns, how to use them in weaving, and how to care for them."
You would have to search through many heavy, dusty volumes to extract the well-presented information in this 66-page book.
I am lucky that most of the yarn I use has been handspun. However, once in a while, I prefer to buy commercially. I keep this book in hand. I am still nowhere near confident in the end project and still produce a sample on a small loom first.
This book, however, opens up more than just the properties of fiber, as you will see when you purchase your copy.
