Great Insights Unfold

Kurt Teske's book manages to be very knowledgeable and insightful without a shred of arrogance. I found that really delightful and the reason that it is such a good read. The author is a marvelous teacher. He provides so much background and the conceptual framework for developing a successful relationship with the world at large, that it is quite easy to utilize the principles as he has outlined them for us. I had a good time with this book, really enjoyed it, learned from it, and highly recommend it as a useful tool for success and prosperity.

A GREAT HELP, AND VERY PLEASURABLE

FENG SHUI FOR SUCCESS is an elegant book that informs without ever feeling heavy or pedantic. Mr. Teske has an unpretentious voice. He is able to lead the reader into other modes of thinking and of experiencing the world. In doing so, he is not afraid to use humor, nor is he afraid to strike a poetic note from time to time. He does both quite well--and just enough. Never overdone. I had heard about Feng Shui years ago and had also stayed in some homes and even a hotel room that had been arranged according to Feng Shui principles, and these were very soothing environments indeed. So I was curious to know how it worked and what were the underlying values and principles. This book not only answered my questions but it offers helpful exercises and tips that enable you to start internalizing the principles of Feng Shui. The author seems to know a great deal about the East in general, and this enriches his unpacking of Feng Shui. We are not handed a few principles in a vacuum. Rather we see FS in a larger context of Eastern thought, philospy, aesthetics and energetics; its relationship to Tao, for instance becomes quite clear. And, thanks again to Mr. Teske's light touch, we appreciate this larger context without ever feeling lectured to or force-fed. I value highly FENG SHUI FOR SUCCESS and keep it in a place of honor, side by side with Koren's WABI-SABI FOR ARTISTS.
