Journi Monroe is growing weary of her relationship with, Jace White, a former NFL quarterback. Their relationship has been struggling since he was forced into early retirement. It has been hard for them to move out of the spotlight of the NFL, but Journi is facing the real world while Jace is still having a hard time facing reality. Journi feel like their love is dying. After a heated argument with Jace, Journi goes out and meets a charming man and a flame is lit between them.

Jace White was once the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, but it all came to an end after playing for only four years. Jace dreamed of being a professional football player all his life and having his dream end is devastating. Moving on is difficult and he feels Journi should be more understanding. Jace feels Journi slipping away. When betrayals come to light, Jace wants to save their relationship, but it's too late.
