great cookbook

I love this cookbook. The recipes are classic and tasty. Most all the ingredients are standards you might already have in your kitchen. The best part, at least for me, are the photos. I am one of those people who chooses recipes by the picture. Just flipping through this book makes me hungry. I can't envision the end product without a photo, so this is my favorite cookbook. I also love how the recipes are divided by season. On a cold snowy night, it offers just the right warm meal you are craving, and then best summer picnic ideas.

Excellent Sample

Excellent sample of traditional recipes that are divided seasonally. Encompasses all types of meat and vegetable dishes, traditional in content but updated indgredients and preparation from the yesteryear. A great practical guide if you always wondered how to make mac and cheese homemade or 3 bean salad. Many comfort foods. Excellent for winter.
