Another Entertaining Little Story

Considering the speed with which Ms. O'Connor is churning out these "I Can Read" titles in addition to the regular Fancy Nancy titles, I have been worried that the quality will suffer. So far, however, that has not been the case. Though there are some of the books I like better than others, I continue to be excited about sharing these books with my own daughter, Nancy. In this story, there is a pajama day at school. When Nancy comes dressed in a fancy nightgown, she is "unique" but feels left out when her best friend, Bree, has matching pajamas with another classmate. Bree and Clara spend the day playing together as "twins" while Nancy is on her own. Needless to say, it all works out well in the end. O'Connor has become quite adept at teaching little lessons in these books in subtle ways, in addition to the reading skills and vocabulary. Though I would not consider most of these stories as entertaining as what you get in the "main" Fancy Nancy titles, they are well worth having on the shelf.

I bought this book and 2 other Fancy Nancy books for my 5 year old granddaughter. She reads them every night and loves them. I bought a Fancy Nancy doll land butterfly book for her birthday and I know she'll love them.
We love Nancy!

We love all the Fancy Nancy's. Great for my 1st grader who isn't quite ready to read chapter books on her own, and still resists reading. She loves the pictures and the stories, and there are challenging "fancy" words too.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this new addition to our library of books. She could relate to it quite well at age 5 as she loves wearing matching outfits with me and her friends at school. I highly suggest this book for your little readers :) Mommy's High Heel Shoes

My seven-year-old granddaughter loves Fancy Nancy books. This one is a particular favorite of hers. We both love the words and pictures. I like the way the author teaches children new words.
