Sophisticated Pea(ai)rs

This book of witty, imaginate art photographs is the funniest and most ironic commentary on American high and popular culture I have encountered. The short and sensuous introduction sets the theme and the images carry it out with an amazing consistency and economy of means. There is nothing careless about these photos of pears/pairs from the shopping bag bachgrounds to the kitchen utensil accessories. No better (and less expensive) gift for friends who share your sense of fun and irony.
