The gold standard in contemporary category romance.

A well thought out, perfectly paced, and enthralling plot adds to the enjoyment provided by Standard's immense talent at characterization. Both Maria and Ben are engagingly drawn but the secondary characters, a cantankerous old cowboy, a recalcitrant teen, and Maria's extensive family are also brought fully to life. This is a terrific read, the best of contemporary romance.
