Family Hatred: A Real Life Story

This book is an African literature text that tells a real life story of a young intelligent boy who grew up in a small village in the North Western part of Cameroon in a polygamous family. Due to the fact that he was very intelligent than his step brothers and sisters sparked up crisis in the family that degenerated and eventually jeopardized the superficial love and living together that existed in that polygamous home. The young boy and his mother were blackmailed and accused of witchcraft by almost every home in the village to the extent that the young boy was victim of both physical and spiritual attacks; his academic performances dropped towards his final year exams but one day his Chemistry teacher made a statement that "If I thought one person will pass Chemistry at the Advanced levels in this class it will be you but now I am not sure"; this reawaken the young boy who regained consciousness and started reading and preparing hard for his final exams which he made some good grades though not as good as he would have wished. Due to all discomfort that characterized their then lovely home; the young boy had to flee to live with his aunt in a neighboring quarter prior to moving to Nigeria for university studies. He graduated from the university as the best student in his batch and after several years of job seeking he got a good job and since then has been the bread winner and support to his family
