When I was a little girl, my parents made almost every family activity significant in one way or another. We often had toasts and special prayers to go with many happy and sometimes sad events. We would have loved a book such as Family Celebrations. Hooray to June Cotner for being clever and thoughtful enough to understand the importance of family gatherings, and for putting her enthusiasm into print for all to use and enjoy!
Family Celebrations

This book can transform you into one of those folks who can provide a toast, prayer or poem for any family celebration whether it be a tooth fairy visit, a memorial service, a fortieth birthday, a housewarming, a baby's birth or even a second marriage. Or, use its quotable words (with attribution, of course) for a greeting in one of those handsome blank greeting cards that fill today's card stands. And may you have "a thousand days like today!"
