This is a great read!

I loved this book. It was hard for me to put down. It had everything: mystery, suspense, romance and to me, that makes a great book. It's an easy book to read and Larry buttram is a fantastic author. I can't wait for the next book!

A Thrilling Ride

False Witness is a thrilling book that turns conventional plots on their head. The characters are lovable and engaging, and the story is fascinating. This should be the start to a good career for Larry Butram.

The next "John Grisham"?

The next 'John Grisham'? The author writes an outstanding novel - I liken him to John Grisham. I began reading one afternoon and found it difficult to put down. 'I'll read just one more chapter,' but my one more chapter turned into finishing the entire book in one sitting! Everything about this book is excellent. The content is such that it can be read by any audience and they will find it captivating and entertaining. The setting, the characters, the plot, the dialogue are creative and captivating. I am looking forward to his next novel.

False Witness--a mystery

Larry Buttram has written an interesting novel of racial relations in rural Tennessee in the 1960's. The novel grabs the reader right away. The reader gets to know and identify with the main character, Ethan, as he deals with the trials and tribulations of his life. The plot makes several twists and leaves the reader wanting more. Great book.

bio-mystery

Larry Buttram weaves an intriguing tale of suspense as he follows the life of Ethan Ward from age 13 to his twenties. The sleepy picturesque setting of Tennessee in the 60's and 70's is ripped apart by murder and racism as seen through the eyes of Ethan Ward. Mr. Buttram's characters are rich and fully developed as we wonder, from chapter to chapter, what is going to happen to him next. This is a well written novel and is just the thing for sitting by the fire on a snowy night. I'm looking forward to Mr. Buttram's next novel.
