This is exactly what I was looking for. This is a diary account by Albert Williams. He details in his book what happened the day his plane, B-17 called Hamtramack Mama, was shot down over Germany on Nov. 30, 1944. My dad's plane, B-17 called Miss Cue, was right next to Albert's plane and was shot down as well. This book has helped me understand what happened on that fateful day in 1944. The book arrived in great condition just as it was described in the advertisment. I am happy to add this book to my collection I've started about my dad's WWII experience.

This is an entertaining and excellent book for anyone who is interested in the experiences of our servicemen in WWII. The book chronicles the experiences of a US serviceman during his time in a German prisoner of war camp. The story unfolds via his letters home to his family in the US. I could not put this book down once I started reading it.
