Intriguing at the very least

The Angel Hunter I gave this a 5-star for one main reason. It was thought provoking and sparked my imagination. It was the catalyst for my own novel, The Angel Hunter. The Watchers, the offspring, the Book of Enoch... all fascinating subject matter. If you consume what this author writes with an open mind and common sense, I'm sure you will find it at least intriguing. Is it information on which to base your religious faith or belief systems? No. But neither is any other literary work.

Great reference book

This book is a great reference book. If you have read the book of Enoch and any other fallen angels books, there are many crossovers, and some indifferences, overall though, this is the book that's easily readable. This book covers many other books, so you can single handily buy one book and read 2-3..... Definitely worth putting into your collection

I used this book researching my own book. Very Good.

I wrote a Christian fiction book (Revelations, Alpha and Omega) and this book was the one I used while researching the Book of Enoch. I did first compare many passages from all the known version I could get my hands on and this one was worth purchasing. Great extra's that I also used in my own story. This book points out things I learned from other sources as well about the modern church and its history and how an important book like Enoch's was removed from our Bible just because it endorsed the idea of giants being the offspring of fallen angels and mankind's seed. Modern theology still won't accept that truth yet Jude (the half-brother of Jesus Christ) quotes the book of Enoch word for word (Jude 14-15 IS Enoch chapter 2). Remember, the Church persecuted Galileo for heresy because he upheld the theory that the earth was round instead of flat. That was only 400 years ago. Our race needs to wake up and re-read the past and make new conclusions.

The most solid explaination for the existance of evil

As a person who believes in the many saints who give highly detailed accounts and descriptions of demons, discarnates, and fallen angels (Padre Pio -physically beaten as others watched, Sri Aurobindo -broken leg while alone in a room trying to write a book, Paramahansa Yogananda -said, "go away" to devils and turned over on his other side trying to fall asleep, Jesus Christ -asked a possessed man his name who thus answered, "My name is legion, for we are many", Padma Sambhava -who traveled back to India from Tibet just to read texts on how to conquer a particular demon, etc. etc. etc.) I find this book right on. But then I have read other versions of the Book of Enoch and they are all the same. Anyone can publish this book because it is over 100 years old like the Bible -there are innumerable versions. I like this particular publishing above all others as it adds other texts like one attributed to Adam (Adam & Eve's Adam), and a few other historically accepted doctrines that just weren't handy for publishing in the Bible when it was put together by the council of Trent. I for one want to know anything I can about God, the Bible, and Christ. If you're looking for the missing pieces of Christianity, this book combined with the Nag Hammadi Library, Dead Sea scrolls, and the Lost Books of Eden should make you completely satisfied once and for all that Christianity is in no way bogus and lacking in its mysticism whatsoever, but only in the man made politics overlaying it. Don't confuse a man for the cancer that has taken a hold of him and start doing your prayers again for the protection of your loved ones. Christ wasn't kidding and neither was Enoch.
