We stayed in one area for 11 days, so book was limited on that specific area, but next trip will be all over Costa Rica, and it will be an even better resource for different area interests. A bit more detailed and info on Mom 'n' Pop and off-the-beaten-path stuff than other books.

Book is an easy read with need to know information. The information is up-to-date and it is printed yearly. The book is compiled by residents to the country so pratical information is included. I liked the accomodation section divided by province, including prices. I also think it is important to support the local paper with my purchase.
