A freelance writer recounts her struggle against cancer, describes the bravery of fellow patients, and analyzes public attitudes towards illness and death This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the book that started my interest in photo narratives. It is arguable whether Eugene Richards ever reached a level of collaboration equal to the one with Ms. Lynch. The fact remains this book brought a vividness to the horror and strangeness of breast cancer. So much of this book seems accidental and perfect.
