Purchase and Refund

I purchased this textbook for a class. It took about a week to arrive and it was in the exact condition I expected. Seller was very good about keeping me up to date on the whereabouts of the product. Unfortunately, my schedule changed and I dropped the class. I contacted the seller to find out the refund policy and was given a precise answer in a timely manner. The item was sent back, and a refund was processed. I received a confirmation email for the return and refund. The seller was very professional and timely. Next time I order textbooks I will definitely check with this seller first. Great transaction!

Life Changing

This is a book I recommend to virtually every person I meet. It was a required reading for a course that I took in college but the short stories and personal reflections in it are not only amazing but incredibly tearful, at times. The authors, or moreover, individuals compiling the book, take you on a journey through a variety of topics. A young girl converting to Christianity and dismissive of her American Indian heritage. A woman's journey as a lesbian teacher. Does white privilege exist and how do you notice it? Why are people resistant to change? What does it mean to be transgendered and how does it affect someone's life? How does it feel to be black surrounded by whites and vice versa? Do people change their persona's to "fit in?" What issues do specific economic classes face? How have women struggled for equality? Why are men desensitized? Why are people so unwilling to understand other cultures? The list here goes on and on. This book changed my life and the way I view the world around me in so many ways to the point I feel that humanities courses should be taught from the beginning of a child's life. If you're buying this for a course in college, keep this book and know that this is probably one of the most important purchases you'll make.
