American Truth

It is fun to read this book: Everything you know about Indians is wrong, by Paul Chaat Smith. He is the associate curator of the National Museum of the American Indian of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. It is a collection of essays he wrote over the years. It is a sharing from Native Voice authority, especially on the destiny manifested. The Trail of Tears and the Wounded Knee impacted the national conscience. The occupied Alcatraz Island of SF Bay was Indian Movement. On p.171, he mentioned ancient ancestors came to Turtle Island by Bering Strait. That may mean red men and yellow men are distant cousins with the same DNA! Oklahoma is American without tears in a big tribal family. It is said to learn of the Colt gun improvement to a license to kill more efficiently. Warning: reading this books will show the shocking truth of Native American history.
