Very funny. A must for every bathroom. This is one of the funniest books out there. It's outrageous without being crude. Great birthday or gag gift. Excellent for parties. I brought my copy to the office and had everyone howling.

i laughed out loud all through the book. i kept reading aloud to any colleague i could find within earshot. i had the office hooting and howling -- because, sadly, this book describes the business world as well as trash tv. a few choice oneliners we witness every day at work:"It's not whether you win or lose, its how you place the blame." -or- "People beaten to the punch are SORE losers." -or- "The grass is always greener.. .when someone's rubbing your face in it." each time i thought i'd found my favorite saying, the next page brought new surprises that topped the list. at one point, i started putting sticky flags on my favorites, only to find i marked the entire book. my colleagues suggested that i start sending out daily quips from the book by e-mail, just to start each day on a high note.from the first page throughout the book, i found myself marveling at the creative energy i discovered on each line. eric, you're a genius!
A fun collection of corolaries for modern times!

Not likely to win the Pulitzer Prize but is light-hearted without being mean-spirited. Eric Stein has grouped together the lessons learned from TV talk shows. Some are good, some are sad but all seem to be true. An easy read for the whole family [whether dysfunctional or not]. Thanks for the laughs!
