I'm a new Mom

Every Parent's Guide to Attachment Parenting helped me to prepare for the hospital experience. Every parent should know that they have control of how they want to be treated and how they want their child to be treated. The author had some no-nonsense advice that I thank her for from the bottom of my heart.

Great Book

I enjoyed this book a lot. The stories were great from other parents and I liked the authors experiences and the medical information that she added to back up her statements.The information in the chapters really got me thinking about the different aspects and has convinced me that attachment parenting is the way to go.

Great Parenting Tool

I found this book to be a wonderful source of support for my views on parenting. I find myself referring back to it regularly to support me in my decisions. I think this is a great book for any parenting library.I enjoyed the beautiful photo's throughout the book as well as all the personal stories and statements from hundreds of other attachment parents. The author did a nice job with this book. I liked the easy to read format which was welcomed by my tired eyes.It is quite obvious how passionate the author is about this style of parenting that she and many generations of her family have been dedicated to and successful with. I plan on giving this book to my husband to read since he is on the fence about a few parenting issues and this book will surely convince him to attachment parent.

I was fortunate to get an autographed copy of this book from the author. She wrote - PARENT WITH YOUR HEART AND YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. I think what she wrote in the book describes the reason behind this book. She is an advocate for attachment parenting. She wants parents to have the best choices available to them. She arms you with information that is important to pregnant woman, nursing mother's and parents. Attachment Parenting is based on instincts and knowledge. The book dispells the old myths of past generations. Foolish notions of old like it is best to let a baby cry it out, or if you hold a baby too much you will spoil it. Any new parent will certainly find helpful information that will answer there questions. I find it nice to share stories with other mothers on the getattached.com website. All the best to new parents everywhere.
