great insight

great stories about regular guys, dealing with everyday life and using faith to help get them through. I always thought John Kasich was a good guy...

very uplifting

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It touched me in a very personal way. It is not a deeply theological book, but rather provides an every day layman's perspective and comments on biblical stories and allows you to really feel as if you are part of the inner circle. I would share this with everyone and Ohio should be lucky to have a man of this character running for govenor..

Loved it

This book is an amazing testimony to God's grace, love, and transformation. I cried, laughed, and enjoyed every page. Thank you for this amazing word of absolute faith!

Get to know John Kasich

This book provides readers with a look at the man behind the former congressman / Fox News analyst / investment banker / candidate for governor. John Kasich really opens up about his personal quest for deep and meaningful religious understanding. While not deeply religious myself, I found that as I read, I was wishing that I knew these "bible guys", that I could have lunch with them, or that I could even just be a fly on the wall for their thoughtful and insightful looks at the Bible and the world.

I suffered a major heart attack in 1989 which led to a heart transplant two years later. I was struck with prostate cancer in 2003. I have asked the questions that are addressed in this book. It will help anyone who is searching find his or her wa Out Of The Night: The Spiritual Journey of Vietnam Vets
