Military people doing military things

My mistake. Should have read the "Peak Inside". Thought there would be more to the book. Just a military exploits book. Just wanted to warn others who thought it might be UFO-oriented. I'd say collectively 15 pages of UFO-related reading spread here and there throughout the book.

Fun book with a great premise

This is a great book and I really like the whole idea behind it. This book was able to draw me in and kept me entertained. If you like underground bunkers and conspiracies, wait until you get a load of this.

A MUST READ

This is an excellent book. A must read for people who like to read fiction about aliens. The Event Group is a great idea for a "Secret Government Agency." The characters are interesting and entertaining. A fast paced read. It kept me hooked to the last page.

Good fast paced SF Thriller

This was a fun read. It's fiction!(that's for all the reviewers who don't understand fiction from war and peace)SciFi--Thrillers--the best part is to stretch your imagination-suspend believe, and just have fun. This book had me enthralled right up to the last page. It certainly has a lot going on plotwise, so there's something for everyone. I enjoyed it throughly. You can either read for enjoyment(then this is your book)or you can be a professional reviewer /editor--in that case take a hike and don't ruin it for the rest of us!

Engrossing

Very entertaining, at times exciting, reading experience. Kudos to the author for an excellent first-book effort... looking forward to the next one, too. ;-)

Could not put it down!

Read the darned thing in 1.5 days - yes, I had to work - and just finished it a few moments ago. Really looking forward to the next one. As an Army Brat (Dad was a lifer) I really appreciated all the real hardware and the real depictions of our soldiers and battles. Good all-round story and realistic protagonists. Will recommend this to all who love great sci-fi!
