Tiersky's Europe Today: National Politics, European Integration, and European Security might well be considered the twenty-first century continuance of Barzini's The Europeans. A thought provoking book that adds further insight into what Europe became as of 2004 and what it still tends to reflect in the present day. A definite read for those interested in the world stage and the European Union's importance in it.
