Eugene, a possum, hopes to escape his fear of the dark by sleeping all night. His sister Geraldine tries to help. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Eugene becomes afraid of the dark, which is not really a good trate for possoms. This is a great little book to discuss the fear of darkness, or fear in general with children. The text is quite readable and understandable and fits quite well is the wonderful illustrations by John Larrecq. I enjoy reading this one with the grandchildren and do highly recommend it.
Wonderful book!
