Etidorhpa, or, the end of the earth: the strange history of a mysterious being and the account of a remarkable journey', is a science fiction novel by John Uri Lloyd, first published in 1895. The title of the book (Etidorhpa) is 'Aphrodite' spelled backwards. The book itself is about the hollow earth, and the text is presented as a manuscript dictated by a strange being, who has descended into the core of the earth through a cave in Kentucky.
