Jacob Marshall is a were wolf. He saves the beautiful PI Renata Cordona from being eaten by wild dogs, and he knows she is his mate. The electricity and the connection between them tells him his gut is right, that she is his mate. Renata feels it too, but she is fighting more than just her feelings for the sexy Jacob, she is trying to find a madman that is killing people. This madman has more than just random people on his mind. He has the entire existence of were-kind in mind. Can you change the past? And how do you stop a madman determined to rule, no matter what or who gets in his way? Protecting his mate is going to be harder than Jacob ever imagined and falling in love is only the first adventure. The secrets both keep make for the real adventure of a life time! Rebecca York has a tale of mystery, greed and a love of a life time in Eternal Moon. I was completely sucked into the trials and tribulations of Jacob and Renata. Renata is a spunky, fearless woman. She is used to protecting others, so having someone protect her is a new and uncomfortable feeling. The fact that everyone she has ever loved has died doesn't make her believe in true love or people sticking around. So when Jacob shows up he has a huge uphill battle on his hands, and especially with her special secret that links them together. He is more than up for the battle. He is strong, masculine and true alpha. I love the loyalty and love that lasts over many life times. This is book 8 in the moon series. It can be read alone and completely enjoyed but I highly recommend them all. Rebecca York is an amazing writer and should not be missed! If you like a love that can last many lives, adventure, and mystery, read Eternal Moon today!

Rebecca York envisions her own paranormal Yoknapatawpha County

When William Faulkner was out of print, Malcolm Cowley did an intro for the Viking Portable Faulkner that showed that Faulkner had created an entire universe -- Yoknapatawpha County-- and peopled it with a vast range of unforgettable characters. I find that Rebecca York's MOON SERIES has maintained my interest because she is continually opening up new possibilities and connections and relations within the MOON WORLD experience. Maybe some people drive down the Interstate counting on getting the same McDouble at ever Golden Arches along the way-- but I would be so bored. Brilliantly-- the series works as a universe but also--each volume is a stand-alone so that one can plunge in at any point and miss none of the magic. As a closure freak however-- I have to read it all and get the details -- so I have read all of the MOON SERIES Books and yet no in the order that they were originally published. I love to watch the characters grow and confront new challenges and I appreciate it that Rebecca York, unlike some other best selling authors does not rest onaa tried and true laurels formula - but keeps pushing the envelop to make her contributions on the cutting edge of this genre.

Renata Cordona is a private investigator on the trail of a murderer who targets female real estate agents. She is at a home waiting on a client to show up when she is almost attacked by a pack of wild dogs. Rescue comes in the form of a hybrid wolf canine who runs the other vicious dogs away. Rebecca knows that something is weird but is unable to put her finger on why. When Jacob Marshall arrives barefoot at the door Renata is glad to see him but also confused as to why he is there and how he knew where she was. Renata has no idea that Jacob just saved her life. Jacob Marshall knows that Renata is his life mate. Because of this, he feels the need to be near her - not only because she is his mate, but because it seems that her life is in danger if the pack of vicious dogs he just ran off is anything to go by. He is unaware that Renata has already guessed the role he will play in her life - she believes they are destined to be together. Danger is stalking both Jacob and Renata and Jacob refuses to put her in danger. With magic and mayhem and incriminating evidence showing up, Jacob whisks Renata away to his family for safety. Renata is in for the surprise of her life. Skillfully written scenes and a completely original plot combine to make ETERNAL MOON a worthy read. Renata and Jacob have been lovers before in another time - their souls are in sync and their love is forever. Jacob's werewolf status is something that Renata had to get used to but she was able to handle the news of his shape shifting status better than I would be able to that's for sure. Their power, with help from a witch from Jacob's world, opens the way for Renata and Jacob to find and capture the demon trying to harm them. The suspense is romantic, the fantastical magic is enchanting, and supernatural beings make ETERNAL MOON the perfect installment of Rebecca York's Moon series. I encourage readers to read this series in order, however, if that is not possible, I feel that ETERNAL MOON is completely understandable by itself. Rebecca York continues to keep me on the edge of my seat with every book she releases! ***Natalie S.***

widening of the Moon pantheon

In Maryland Costa Rican-American private investigator Renata Cordona works undercover trying to capture the killer of female realtors. She waits with a gun for a client to arrive at an empty house for sale. When she steps outside, six dogs menace her until a wolf arrives and the sextet leave. The wolf leaves immediately after Renata steps back inside. Jacob introduces himself to Renata who knows he is a famous animal handler, but she is unaware that he can talk to the animals. Frustrated Questabaze the demon knows his canine ploy failed leading to these true mates meeting. Renata and Jacob are attracted to one another and past lives together flash in their mind. Renata is upset because Jacob reminds her of her loved ones like her parents and her two boyfriends who died in accidents; she keeps her distance from people. That night Jacob watches her house when she is asleep she steps outside naked performing a strange ritual. Renata awakens to see a wolf; she fires at him as he flees. Jacob cannot believe she shot him in the shoulder. Later that night Jacob and Renata share the same dream of making love together; she calls him Jalerak. Questabaze is upset as he sees the dream as things not going right this time; he plans to fix that while Jacob knows Renata is his life mate and she fears her attraction to him. The relationship between the lead couple is terrific as they are attracted to one another, but she calls the cops on him anyway while the villain is terrific as a demon and his human disguise perfect. Readers will enjoy a brief look at the other world that includes the return of lead couples from previous tales. Though a twist involving Renata and Questabaze makes the otherwise brilliant demonic tactician look dumb as he had much easier methods to employ, fans will appreciate the widening of the Moon pantheon.
