Dr. Householder's book explains the in's and out's of home building. He takes you from the ground up in an informative, insightful look into the process of estimating the cost of your next home. When I first used the book to estimate a house, I knew very little about the process of building. Dr. Householder's explaination of this very detailed process helped me to realize all the work and decisions that went into home building.
