Estate of Grace

Jim Powers was, at one time, my partner in the practice of law, so I am not unbiased. He was a brilliant lawyer, and this is his beautifully woven story about people, but most especially about lawyers and judges, and what really goes on in the legal jungle of litigation, told by one who knew from experience. There are many, many insights about the types of folks that inhabit that world, and I only wish he had been able to leave us more of his story telling, thoughtful observations and piercing character analysis.
