A very comprehensive account of Cell Biology.

This book provides essential information about cellular function, that serves as a basis for the understanding of pathological changes that occur in disease, as well as therapeutic interventions that impact on patient care.For me, as a clinician, the book bridges an unfortunate void between pure science and clinical medicine, that makes hitherto difficult concepts in cell biology easier to grasp and more interesting to study.My main criticisms are the paucity of color illustrations and the age of the last edition.I would sincerely appreciate it, if the authors of this excellent book would be sufficiently kind to offer us a new edition.
