Same book as Mammoth Book of Illustrated Eroctica!!!

I was only very disappointed because I had expected a new book to give me ideas for my art but noooo, it is the exact same book as the one I already had that Isabella Valentine's review/list inspired me to purchase, The Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotica. Not that I don't like the book because I really do, it has some really cool photos but I was needing more inspiration not the same thing!
Size does matter!!!

This is a beautiful little book. Beautiful is a positive, little is a negative. Certainly with well over 400 pages it would be about the size of a car (and about the same price) if it was produced in a size that would do the images justice but there's something frustrating in seeing good images reduced to postcard size. It's like seeing the Rolling Stones doing a gig in the back room of a pub to a disinterested audience through old broken down amplifiers. These are mostly high quality images and categorized by photographer which is good. There are enough images from each of the photographers represented to offer a good idea of people who's work the reader may wish to look out for but once you've remembered the names of people who's work and style you'd like to see more of, the one thing that's a certainty is you'll want them in coffee table book size (if you can't get them in actual coffee table size, or better still the dinner table). As a taste test this book is nice but a big heap of tastings is no substitute for a good meal. However it has offered up yet another name or two for me that I'll be looking out for in big lush format. Cheers Lloyd
