When we last left Meg Christmas in Prelude to a Chance of Mind, she knew that her adventures with Jack Plenty, Ekaterina, Bad Jack, and the Rataxians were not yet finished. Entranscing starts right in the thick of the action as Meg Christmas pops into the quarters of Rataxes 2, of the Council of Nine. Four other Transcers have now been found. All are pregnant. Now the real adventure begins Entranscing contains all the same great characters and charming wit that I loved in the first book with a little more action and intrigue.
