Katherine Deauxville's Newest Jewel - "Enraptured"

Once again Katherine Deauxville has given her readers a sensational story! 'Enraptured' is rich with humor and passion, and one of the best books I've read in a very long time. If you want to give yourself a real treat, get 'Enraptured'. It's another winner from one of the grand ladies of the romance genre!

Great Humorous Romance

This book was quite different from Ms.Deauxville's previous novels. This book made me laugh and enlightened my outlook towards the standard romance. Ms. Deauxville captured all the pertinent feelings of a romance including humor I hope she continues her great work and I am looking forward to the next book! Thank you Katherine.

An Hilarious book on feminism and love in 19th cent England!

ENRAPTURED BY KATHERINE DEAUXVILLE review by Tricia Fultano of Romance on the Moors Katherine Deauxville writes an hilarious story on feminism and love in 19th century England.Marigold Fenwick and her two friends were The Three Cavaliers, who have been brought up on the writings of Mary Wollstoncraft. They are trying to expose the harsh life in the mining camps near their home. Upon learning that Sacheverel deVries, the Duke of Westermere is responsible for it, they make plans to get him to correct all the problems there. Then Marigold decides to take it into her own hands, Literally! She flings herself into the Duke's coach and cries rape. Not sure what to make of the situation, Sacheverel takes Marigold home and offers marriage. But she has other plans. Marigold does not want to become one of those ladies who do their husband's bidding, no she wants to be his equal. So she decides to seduce the Duke for money to help the mining families. Then she changes her mind and flees back to her village to help the people that are counting on her. As she does this she realizes that she has lost her heart to Sacheverel. What will she do.....be a hero and help the village? or go with her heart and marry Sacheverel? If you need a good laugh or want to know what true love really is... this is the book to read.

You'll be beguiled, amused and ENRAPTURED

One of the best Regency historicals I've read in a long time. Witty, sexy, charming and moving all at once. Some historicals make you laugh; some make you cry; some make you think. This one does all three. As a romance writer myself, I can't think of a higher compliment than that. Keep 'em coming, faster, Ms Deauxville!

This is wonderful! You will love this book!!

"Warning" Do Not read this book with broken ribs. I laughed so much at times I was hurting and going Oh, God, Oh, Oh. When you have three young women from the country that believe in "free love", and all the teachings of Mary Wollstonecraft, and one, Marigold, is chosen as the spokesperson to confont the very "brutal exploiter of women & children." His grace, Sacheverel Westermere, has no earthly idea what or why this Marigold Fenwick is spouting all the rubbish she is. One thing he will know is when Marigold decides to seduce the duke, lord does that man know he's seduced. Three things in life are important, to live, love, and laugh, Ms. Deauxville gives you that and so much more. Splendid!! 4 1/2 BELLS!! Donita Lawrence 4820 SE 52nd OKC, OK 73135
