Enough is Enough

When I heard about this book, Enough by H.B. Gilmour I was very excited to read it, mainly because I like reading about stromg women roles and how they saved theirselves. The purpose of this book is to you that no one should have to go through any kind of abuse, and that you can eventually get through it. This book is not intended for young kids, but for mature teens and adults.Enough is about a young waitress named Slim, one day at work she meets a nice man and after going out a while they end up getting married, and soon after having a little baby girl. Her life seems so perfect, a loving and caring husband, beautiful daughter and a gorgous house. But when Mitcht's (her husband)true colors come out it's a different story, now her and her daughter must run to save their lives. This is a very inspiring book, for any woman going through this kind of problem and thinks that there is no way out.The book, Enough, is very orginized in the way it is written, there are three chapters, Bliss, The Chase, and The Battle of the Sexes. Within the chapters there are eighteen subchapters. Each chapter describes the poit Slim and her husband are in their lives.Some strong points of the way this book is wrote are, for one it is organized into chapters and subchapters, which makes it very easy and fun to read. Each event is catorgorized and put into the appropriate subchapters. Another good point is that the reading is very easy to read, it just flows from point to point.But there are just a couple weak points, like in a few instances the story line jumps from time to time, and makes it kind of hard to understand. Also the ending is just predictable, it would have been a little better if the ending was different too.Overall this book accuratly displays a day in the life of a battered wife, so to say, and is a very inspiring book for anyone who is going through this kind of abuse, all together though I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a stromg woman role and a good suspenseful story line.
