What the Engineer Knows and the Technician Doesn't

This is not an easy book, and may stump those trying to use it for self-study. Having said this, and with the proviso that you'regoing to need some calculus, this could be the book for you. This book contains the kind of information that the EE knows and the ASET, and possibly the BSET, don't. This book can't be read for pleasure. It requires careful and thorough study, and working the exercises to test your understanding. But, ifyou put forth the effort, you will be richly rewarded.

Lazy people need not buy

This book is THE Classic textbook for Engineering Circuit Analysis - stress on the word ENGINEERING. Unlike basket weaving or truck driving, electrical engineering requires deep thought, hard work, and a good attitude. And of course, intelligence. If you are looking for a cakewalk type of book, go buy some book of little substance written by a technician and you can fluff your way through your "class". This is a book used for a type of class that weeds out the fakers; separates the MEN from the boys. The bad reviews on this book make me laugh! The examples in this book are of an essential nature. Don't let them fool you, this is the best book ou there!

One of the best

clear explanation with large amount of in-depth exercises, and most importantly, it made me get a good grade in my introductory EE course. A must-buy for CompE/EE major.

This is an excellent book

This was my first circuit analysis book, and I keep returning it to it though my library has grown considerably. The writing is crystal-clear, full of insight, and as pleasant to read as it is instructive.
