Encounters with God In the Battles of Life

Life is our battlefield we war on. For ourselves, our families, our friends, our churches, our communities, and our world. From the day we are born till the day we die, there will be challenges that get us out of bed in the morning. As we hit the floor running to meet the demands of the day, we fight for what we sense God would want on our behalf. Each season of life brings unique situations to each of us, yet, at the same time, are common to us all. Sicknesses, relationships, finances, emotional and mental challenges face us as they have others through the ages. There is no challenge that someone else has not experienced. In this study, we will learn from the battle examples, trials, and sufferings of Biblical examples and fellow believers on how they faced the struggles of life. Some with victory, some with defeat. Some with success, and some with failure. Each one will give us examples to learn from and apply to the situation we are facing. Through the life of Jehoshaphat and other valiant warriors, we will discover keys to fighting this war and winning.
