Book Overview

Ann Aguirre's thrilling young adult novel Enclave is the story of two young people in an apocalyptic world--facing dangers, and feelings, unlike any they've ever known.

New York City has been decimated by war and plague, and most of civilization has migrated to underground enclaves, where life expectancy is no more than the early 20's. When Deuce turns 15, she takes on her role as a Huntress, and is paired with Fade, a teenage...

Couldn't put it down!

A creative look on a post apocalyptic world. Underground society that hasn't seen the light of day for generations. A disgraced member of the community doomed to surface. Lots of action and strange beings arise from the debris. Very nicely done! I'm putting the rest of the series in my cart right now!

Apocalypse Series

I have read this entire series a few times. It is one of my most favorite ever. It is a mix of suspense, intrigue, humor and an all around excellent apocalypse series.

Great shape/Good book

Loved the book and can’t wait for the others to arrive! :)

Truly Enjoyable

I really loved reading the first book, Enclave. I'm half way through the second in the series and while it's good, it's nowhere near as amazing as the first was. It was a quick post apocalyptic read. I read it to see if it was appropriate for my child. While there are a few parts that involve some more grown up emotions, it would safely be a good book for any teenager if you are willing to have the 'tough' conversations with them.

Worth a read

It’s the end of the world but not like you’ve seen it before. When “Hunger Games” became big it was because it held some new views on the world. This book is like that in that it is unique in its plot. I read it in middle school off a recommendation but didn’t read the books to follow. I remembered liking it and it felt like a shame not to finish the series. So I ordered it on here and reread it. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique story.
