Positively Enchanting

These enchanted tales were everything a girl could wish for. Yes, they were an absolute turn on. Yes, the stories were fantasticly engaging. But what I liked best was how original it was. Not the same old same old for sure. Both the stories and the sexual parts were creative in the extreme. I love when this happens! A quick rundown on the stories in this grouping (without spoilers): First up is Enchanted Forest, about a secret place in the woods where the wildlife really comes alive. This one had a super surprise ending that fit the story well and sent chills up and down my spine. Next is Disenchantment, which combines the realities of romance with a fantasticly supernatural ending. Dying for It is a very unique vampire story that will certainly please the romantic. Expecting was a favorite of mine and I'm not sure why. It's just so memorable. A woman is abducted by aliens, or is she? One is not sure, but it left me wanting to hang outside on a dark night. Flowers for Angela was another one of those stories where you just shake your head thinking where does she come up with this? Excellently written and executed, the story takes mind control to another level and makes you wonder. Jimmy was another favorite. The sex scenes in that one truly were out of this world.I had mixed feelings about that ending. The last and longest story is the Incentive Program and this is another one that amazed me. It is the most romantic story in the group. And that's what's so amazing about it. There's a hauntingly subtle tone to these paranormal stories that makes you think you're reading real life. I really enjoyed Nancy Madore's Dancing Princesses a few years back but this was over the top good.

Great, erotic tales.

This was a great read for me. It's about supernatual tales and reads so well. I liked all of the stories--I don't think there was one I went, "meh" to! There are about seven stories in all, the best, in my opinion, being "Expected"--so good! What I liked best that while these were sexy/erotic stories, the romance was still there and that makes the best kind of book for me. I highly recommend this to all lovers of good erotic fiction, as well as Breaking the Girl and Eager to Please: Two Erotic Novels of Submission.

seven well written erotic tales

"The Enchanted Forest". Catherine once ran marathons; now she runs the rat race. Thus with a few days of R & R, Catherine returns to outdoor activity. However, her hike into the forest seems to be calling her to go deeper as if someone is calling for her. "Disenchantment". Maryanne knows nothing has gone right lately as each man she meets on line has proven not up to the image they depict. However when she meets Dan she falls in love and him with her until he begins to find Maryanne's biting flaws pushing him to sever the relationship. "Dying For It". Anna and Vincent are opposites as she is an introvert and he is an extrovert; that is what each displays to others. Inside Anna is an extrovert while Vincent is an introvert. When they meet, each conceals a dark secret that define their personalities in public and in private, but neither quite understands blood will tell. "Expecting". Emilie sees the blue mark that indicates uncertainty to her and David whose comfort feels alien. Yet her dreams increases her trepidations that what happened will occur again as she is locked away with Dr. Rozzi providing therapy, but she knows they are expecting her soon. "Flowers for Angela". In the psychiatrist's journal, the first entry mentions middle age patient Eleanor dealing with the deaths of her husband and her shrink, but nothing is quite what it seems as her negative emotions are modified so every moment is joyful. "Jimmy". The clairvoyant warns Sara that Jimmy the incubus haunts her to get at her boyfriend, Ray. "The Incentive Program". In 2019 Georgia runs a simulation program that predicts humanity's future. She likes what she sees in 2304 especially what happens to volunteers Cassie and Peter as she wants that for herself. These seven well written erotic tales run the gamut between the supernatural and science fiction as Nancy Madore enchants those who prefer something different. Harriet Klausner

Lovin' Me Some Erotic Tales!

4 1/2 STARS!!!! I was delightfully surprised and impressed with Nancy Madore's 'Enchanted Dreams'. While I had prepared myself to be shocked, and I was, it was in a way that was wholly unexpected. Ready for anything and filled with anticipation for some very erotic and perhaps uncomfortable scenarios that would blow open my developed boundaries, none of Madore's novellas approached or surpassed my limits as a reader of erotic novels. On the contrary, my opinion is that the contents, while superbly arousing, consisted mostly of light erotica combined with rampant emotional intensity and a spattering of paranormal elements. Each of the novellas in Madore's collection set its hooks in me astonishingly fast and before I knew it I had devoured the book's entire contents. Some novellas invoke an eerie feeling while others had me gasping in sudden surprise. I found myself anticipating the ending of each tale knowing that something was going to happen that would take me completely, yet pleasantly, off guard. One novella in particular prompted me to really think about human nature in the realm of relationships. I was awe struck by the simple truth that was spoken by the characters and while it's somewhat depressing, the details were familiar while still being enlightening. I've yet to determine if I agree or if I merely accept that this is in fact some people's rational. Either way, Madore's characters challenged me and I found that immensely enjoyable. While 'Enchanted Dreams' is an Erotic Novel, there is romance to be had. There's romance in Madore's words, in the description of her scenes. She is a beautiful, if not an elegant writer whereby transcending the reader into her fairy tales with magical and flowing prose. A good many of her novellas embody romantic plots as well whether it's again the beauty of Madore's words or the characters themselves and their actions. There is an especially romantic novella at the very end of the collection. The relationship that one woman embarks upon with three other men was beautifully romantic and I found myself falling for each man right along with their collective heroine. Another novella proved that love can be powerful enough to conquer a nasty and determined incubus. But don't expect a "Happily Ever After" in all or any of these tales. While some novellas ended with an HEA-esque conclusion, others ended abruptly and in some cases with subtle terror. Which leads me to the paranormal elements. While interesting, the elements didn't overshadow the characters or their journeys but rather they enhanced them. Some novellas are highly paranormal in plot while others are only subtly so. Madore breathes new life into the vampire myth as well as the fierce cunning of the incubus. In one novella, even aliens make an erotic appearance. Or do they? That question can be argued both ways I believe. Then there is the power of hypnosis, a revolutionary scientific program with the ability to see the future, and a woman who

Things definitely go bump in the night here!

Enchanted brought out the naughtiness of your favorite fairytales, then Enchanted Again brought out the dark side to eroticism. Now Nancy Madore returns with Enchanted Dreams. This time she tackles the paranormal/fantasy genre. You will get the tale of a woman lost in quite an interesting forest. Why is the forest misbehaving? Then there is the futuristic/time travel story of a lonely 2019 woman who takes voyeurism to a whole other level. A woman might be having an alien's baby, while another woman cheats on her fiance with a ghost who knows just what she wants and how she wants it. But none of these stories compares with the one about a troubled young woman and her encounter with a sexy but deadly vampire. There is something for everyone here. No matter what sort of science fiction/fantasy fan you are, I'm sure you'll love at least one of these stories. All the better if you love erotica. These stories are sexy and fun -- great escapism through and through. Madore has taken her unique series to a whole other level and I hope she considers expanding her writing to this genre, especially if they center on vampires. (You can tell that Dying for It is my favorite short story in the book!) A must read!
